La revista Bottom Line Health publicó, con ayuda de Bill Marler, una lista de lo que dice son seis alimentos que nunca comería.

¿Quién es Marler para decirnos qué comer y que no? Pues, es un abogado y experto en seguridad alimentaria, que ha representado a víctimas de casi todos los brotes de intoxicación que se han reportado en Estados Unidos en las últimas dos décadas.

 

1. Carne que no está bien cocida

Porque puede causar intoxicación de E. coli, salmonella y otras bacterias.

2.Jugos o leches no pasteurizadas

Éstos tienen 150 veces más probabilidades de causar enfermedades que los productos lácteos pasteurizados.

3.germinados como la soya

Pueden darte causados por Salmonella y E. coli.

4.Huevos a medio cocer o crudos

Al comerse de esta manera crece el riesgo de contraer salmonella.

5.Ostras y otros moluscos

“Las ostras son animales filtradores, es decir, recogen todo lo que está en el agua”, dice el experto. “Si existe bacteria, ésta entra en su sistema, y si comes esa ostra tendrás problemas, dice Bill.

6.Frutas y vegetales listos para comer

Con esto, el experto reduce el riesgo de listeria, una bacteria letal que prospera en el refrigerador.
